Pedro Obregon graduated from Yale University in 2007 with a degree in Political Science and is currently a second year MBA student at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to business school he worked as an Investment Banker for six years. Most recently, he spent three and a half years at Pan American Finance (“PAF”), a boutique firm located in Miami FL that offers buy-side M&A, debt and equity capital raising, debt restructuring, and project finance services across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Prior to PAF, Pedro spent two and a half years as an analyst at Bulger Capital Partners, a boutique merchant bank in Boston, MA advising tech companies on sell-side M&A transactions and capital raising initiatives as well sourcing deals for the firms growth equity fund. During his career he has advised companies across various industries and has performed detailed financial, strategic, and competitive benchmarking analysis and has developed operating and valuation models incorporating different growth, cost, and capital structure scenarios to analyze the impact across equity returns.
